This crater lake is constantly changing its color and is a good starting point for a tour through the Andes. In nearby villages such as Chugchilan and Isinlivi there are simple accommodations where you can spend the night at a local family. Here you can relax by the fire after an active hike to the top of Quilotoa lake.
