A few days at the Pacific coast is the perfect way to begin or end your trip through Ecuador. 'La Costa' as it is called in Ecuador is characterized by the many beaches, coves, cliffs, fishing villages and surfing beaches. Thanks to the warm and humid climate, this region has a very diverse landscape, ranging from green mangroves to tropical dry forests. Because of the cold Humboldt Current from the south humpback whales honor us with a visit every year from June until October, a magnificent experience to behold. 

 

The metropolis of Guayaquil is located in the area of 'La Costa' and is excellent to start or end your journey through Ecuador. From Guayaquil you can also continue your journey with a flight to the Galápagos Islands.
