Best time to travel
If you're traveling to the Amazon region of Ecuador, keep in mind that the rainy season lasts from roughly December to March. Throughout the year the rainforest is moist, to keep the jungle green and vertile. During the rainy season rivers are easily navigable which makes it possible to enter more remote parts of the Amazon.
