Nature calendar
The Galápagos Islands are located about 1,000 kilometers from the coast of Ecuador. The archipelago consists of large and small islands and the flora and fauna varies from island to island. The scientist Charles Darwin did most of his research here 150 years ago and discovered that the animals here adapt to the environment where they live. On the Galápagos Islands no predators can be found because the islands are too far from the mainland, therefore the animals on the Galápagos do not have natural enemies and you can come very close.
Ecole Travel has developed a nature calendar, so you can get more information about the wildlife and what there is to see throughout the year.
