This is the only project on the Galapagos Islands that combines environmental, community and social initiatives to improve the sustainability of the islands. The project works in reforestation and replacing exotic, invasive plants with endemic species. Volunteers also spend time collaborating with hippo-therapy for local disabled children who visit the Hacienda twice a week and educational programs to promote environmental conservation. This is a brilliant all-round project.
