On the island of Santa Cruz a family has dedicated their land to ecologically farm products on their land and with this create consciousness within the community of the necessity to preserve the lands of Galapagos by farming without chemicals and also for the inhabitants to buy locally produced products and with that lowering the amount of food imported that threaten the local economy but also increase the chance of importing foreign bugs and plagues to the island. Volunteers live and work with the family.
